May this be the turning of the tide. Maddie & Tae take ‘Girl in a Country Song’ to the top of the Billboard Country Airplay Chart, becoming the first female act at #1 in over two years. Yes, this is the result of clever radio promo, and a very expensive campaign, but it’s a good result nonetheless.
Kenny Chesney‘s ‘Til It’s Gone’ moves into the top 5, and Scotty McCreery enters the top 10 with ‘Feelin’ It.’
