One of Nashville’s famous songwriters venues, Douglas Corner Café, will see Americana artist Renée Wahl join a diverse group of musicians for a night of great songs and storytelling. She will join Adam James Deiboldt, Rhett McDaniel, and host Mary Hartman on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 8.30 pm.

“I am looking forward to playing at Douglas Corner Café for the first time as it is one of the premier songwriters’ venues in Nashville,” Renée said. “It’s always exciting when I get an opportunity to play to a new crowd.”

Following a recent performance, Renée was described as sounding like she could be Emmylou Harris’s daughter. Her tales of heartbreak and love (and a little revenge) have been steadily winning her fans and critical praise from the Americana community. She is currently writing for her upcoming album which will follow the 2010 release, Cumberland Moonshine.

Douglas Corner Café is located at 2106 8th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37204. There is no cover but the venue charges a $4 food and drink minimum if you sit at a table.
