A little while ago, I was introduced to the new online live music platform StageIt and last week I ‘attended’ my first StageIt show. The first of many, I am sure.

Armed with an acoustic guitar and a webcam, Jeremy McComb played a half hour slot in his house which was streamed directly into ours. Still a little hoarse from screaming at the Predators game the night before (I know how that goes!), Jeremy ran through several songs, most of which were fan requests. These included the Travis Howard penned ‘Five to Midnight,’ the Bobby Pinson tune ‘We Were Something,’ the this-was-written-in-15-minutes ‘Perfect,’ as well as ‘Wagon Wheel’ which sounds impressive in any setting.

Alongside the webplayer, the other fans attending the show chatted with each other and with Jeremy. Questions and requests were posted and funny conversations about a Shake Weight ensued. It’s all wonderfully interactive and this is a perfect setting for a laid-back, no-fuss, it’s-all-about-the-fans guy like Jeremy.

I was very impressed with both Jeremy McComb and StageIt, and highly recommend them both to you all!
