Dear Luke Bryan and Dallas Davidson,

I am really curious as to what compelled you to write ‘Country Girl (Shake it for Me)’. Each summer I am prepared to hear a fair share of fluffy summer songs which, while meaningless, are still catchy, fun and inoffensive. tractors
honky tonks
rednecks
catfish
barns

To those fans I say, fair enough.

But for anyone who is paying even a little bit of attention, there’s the obvious sexism to deal with. I would take offense but some of the phrases are just too silly for that. Shake it for me is one thing, but Shake it for the squirrels, I mean, come on guys!

With kind regards but in the strongest possible way this receives a…
