CMA Fest Show Review – Chase Rice – June 10, 2011

A new name to country music, Chase Rice released his debut album, Country as Me, earlier this year. He knows how to party and brought boundless energy to the Hard Rock Café stage during CMA Music Fest. His debut single, ‘Buzz Back’ got a big cheer. It had existing fans singing along and I am sure, with this performance, Chase created some new ones. Chase was a finalist on the 2009 edition of TV show Survivor but just missed out on the grand prize. When he returned home, as any songwriter would, he let the experience inspire him to reflect and write. The result was ‘Beats a Million Bucks’ and you can check out the video (as well as a few pictures from the performance) below.

Her main influences are coffee, cats, and Alexander Hamilton.
