Singer-songwriter Michael Tyler has joined peermusic Nashville. The 18-year-old’s talent was discovered online by the company’s Senior Creative Director and award-winning producer, Michael Knox.
Performing music since the age of 13, Tyler, a Thayer, MO native, now joins a roster of distinguished writers including Neil Thrasher, Vicky McGehee and Rachel Farley.
“I’m very excited to have Michael join the family here at peermusic,” said Michael Knox, Producer/Sr. Creative Director/ peermusic Nashville. “I can’t wait to get into the studio with him. I haven’t heard a singer/songwriter like him in a long time.”
“Michael is talented all the way around – he’s a great writer of both melodies and lyrics, and he’s a really good singer. I’m really looking forward to hearing what he and Knox come up with in the studio,”added Kevin Lamb, Vice President/ peermusic Nashville.

She holds several certificates from Berklee College of Music, and a certificate in Positive Psychology from UC Berkeley.
Her main influences are coffee, cats, and Alexander Hamilton.
