The brand new single from Sarah Darling made its exclusive world premiere, May 28th on Sirius XM’s The Highway, and will be available for download on iTunes Tuesday, June 4th.

Little Umbrellas‘ is fun and breezy and definitely puts the listener in the island mind-set. Darling sings about getting over a love lost by hopping a plane to the islands and getting lost in its rhythm, or in other words, drinking his memory away.

To me, this is the ladies version of the typical ‘I’m going to drink her memory away’ kind of song that we usually hear from the gentlemen of Country music. It puts a smile on your face and makes you think, ‘yeah, I’ve been there before, I know how you feel!’

As you listen to the song, you can see yourself sitting on the beach, enjoying your favorite drink, with you feet in the sand, the sun on your face and the waves crashing near by.

In anticipation for the world premiere, Darling says,

Who doesn’t love a little umbrella drink! It’s a song that makes you want to sway in the breeze, and immediately put your toes in the sand.

I agree!! Whose ready to hop a plane to the islands and leave trouble and heartbreak behind?!
